IU Outdoor Adventures
IUOA is an outdoor recreation program that serves the Bloomington campus and surrounding community. If you love the great outdoors, IUOA is the place to get in gear for your next trip! You can rent or buy quality camping and hiking gear, organize a custom experience, take skills courses for college credit, climb our bouldering wall, or sign up for Adventure Trips. Summer Break Trips:
With summer on the horizion, our adventure trip schedule is starting to heat up!!
Jumpstart your sense of adventure by becoming a part of the 4th Annual Canoe Canada Expedition.
School of Public Health Alumni Association Trips:
With IU Outdoor Adventures student trip leaders as your guides, your group will canoe two days through the striking gorges of Turkey Run and Shades State Parks.
Families are welcome.
Minimum age is 12.
The Nature Conservancy has designated this pristine archipelago in Lake Huron as “One of the Last Greatest Places.”
Join IUOA in exploring the islands, lodging in lakeside cabins, and meeting other SPH alumni.
Minimum age is 16.
