Youth Adventure School committment to safety
We understand that on each trip, we teach, travel, and learn alongside your most precious assets -- your children. Your sons' and daughters' well-being are our top priority.
Instructors identify and avoid hazards where possible. However, in the unforeseen event that something should happen, our instructors have the tools and training to deal with virtually anything.
In addition, our instructors carry industry-standard emergency equipment whenever possible to provide the best care. We work to stay in constant communication with the "real world," regardless of the remote nature of a particular trip. Instructors also carry advanced communications equipment such as satellite phones, ground-to-air radios, and cellular phones so that advanced front country emergency care is always just a phone call away.
Finally, we make all participants and their guardians fully aware of potential hazards associated with our courses and make every effort to protect each participant. We want everyone traveling and learning with us to have the best experience they can. Our priority is to ensure that your child’s mental and physical well-being are safe.
